Welcome to the Phonetic Training Program (PTP)

The Phonetic Training Program helps you to learn basic letter writing skills for the Latin/English, Hindi, Marathi and Telugu alphabets.

From the menu at the top, click on a language you would like to learn to write. A new frame will open in this window.

From the panel of letters on the left side, click on any letter. You will hear it pronounced, and then see it written in hand-writing style. You can practice by copying the writing on a piece of paper with ruled lines.

The first letters with blue backgrounds are vowels. All other letters are consonants.

You can change the speed of the writing.

1. Click on Learning to see the letters written slowly and steadily. this is your starting mode to get familiar with the strokes of each letter.
2. Click on Getting Better to see the letters written at a nice steady speed, but where you can still easily see the different strokes.
3. Click on Writing to see the letters written at nearly normal writing speed. This is your writing skill target.
