Infogrid Pacific announces the IGP:ECMS Solutions Partner Programme. This unique business model builds on the collaborative nature of the Internet to is designed to empower SI/VAR business around the world. The programme is a combination of software applications, support services, information design and advanced enterprise content management software products. The objective of the programme is to make advanced ECMS solutions available to any user, anywhere.
The programme is targeted at SI/VAR's rather than end users. This is because of the complexity of deploying a successful content management system is dependent on.
Discussing the philosophy of the Solution package, Infogrid Pacific CEO, Richard Pipe said, "The programme is designed to be inclusionist. The IGP:ECMS Solutions Partner Programme is open to SI/VAR's around the world, creating the opportunity to capture, manage and distribute content and information to new and wider user communities. This is achieved with a deliberate focus on cost reduction, ease of use, sophistication of metadata and comprehensive support.
Marketing Director Joseph Yeo stated, "It was essential that we provide a complete solution, not just some applications. That is why we have not adopted open-source, or the quaintly labeled 'commercial open source' route. We have created the programme in consultation with our target customers. They are more concerned that we provide a solution that delivers relevant value with support in all business dimensions. They don't have budgets available to make mistakes.
