Infogrid Pacific offer premium digitization services to publishers and other organizations who have valuable content that must, or should, exist in digital form. 

We offer the most competitive contract rates in the industry, contact us today.

1. The pricing applies to well behaved PDF's where the text extracts reasonably. We reserve the right to not accept inputs that do not meet minimum standards.
2. Pricing is applied on a per page basis within a book.
3. Add the scan/proof surcharge to the applicable page rate.
4. You get one eBook format in the pricing. Add the per format surcharge for additional eBook Formats
5. We can apply custom styling to eBook formats to create a distinctive look and add to the value of the finished product.

About the Pricing

Why is Infogrid Pacific less than half the price of other facilities world-wide?

Simple. Our production tools are unequaled, our quality systems minimize time wastage and rework, and our highly trained and motivated team in India have been doing high-end digitization for over a decade. After 40,000,000 pages, we have learned a thing or two.

Custom Projects

Yes, we are constantly doing custom projects which require custom pricing, especially to support our IGP:ACOM and IGP:eCOMPILE products. We do complex text books, learning systems and much, much more. We do it all at the most competitive costs, and our experience, technology and digitization system will bring significant value to your project.

Consulting Services

We understand that for many the 'digital arena' is a new frontier. After working alongside many of the world's largest publishers, and tackling the most demanding of projects, our now-how and knowledge base is second to none. As part of the Infogrid service, we freely exchange ideas and strategies to enhance your project during the production phase, and engage in a more formal manner for ongoing consulting services.

Quality

Our QA monitoring systems are currently showing less than 2 defects per 100K characters from OCR'ed content. However we currently publish our warranty at 4 defects per 100K characters 

LOTE (Languages other than English)

Our rates apply to any Latin character language, so that means EFSIG+. However these rates do not include language proofing or editorial experts in languages. We're pretty good, and our language processors do a pretty good job, but we ease our quality warranty to 5 defects per 100K characters for diacritic heavy languages.

Formats

The core digitization is done in IGP:FoundationXHTML. Sounds proprietary – its not. It's valid XHTML which gives you the benefits of W3 standardization, its processor friendly and designed to deliver the maximum reusability with the lowest possible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

You can request a number of formats. We currently deliver ePUB, Mobipocket (Kindle), MS Reader 2.0, Palm Reader, IGP:Reader/Writer, IGP:Line by Line PDF. OK, it's not the biggest list, but it covers the essentials. We are interested in hearing about any other options you may require.

Warranty

We have a standard 90 day "fix-it" warranty. We will keep your content in our Production Services Enterprise Content Management System for 90 days, and fix any defects and regenerate and redeliver formats. Files are automatically deleted 90 days after first delivery (or earlier if you request). 

Content Storage

We also have an extended plan for ongoing editorial revisions.  If you give us permission to maintain your content in our ECMS we will provide editorial update services (errata, not new editions) while you have ongoing work-orders with us. There is no storage charge for content stored in our ECMS; but there is also no Service Level Agreement (SLA) on the free production archive . However we want your business and all archived content is stored in replica in two storage zones using IGP:Repository 2. It's secure, it available, and you can see and access your content at any time. If you need digital asset management you control we strongly encourage you to look at IPG:Publisher DAMS.

STM and Code Listings

Sorry, Scientific, Technical and Medical (STM) as XML markup is not included in these  prices. We will do equations as images but they will be medium or complex page pricing. 

Turn Around

Generally a 300 page Trade & Retail book will be available within ten business days. Both complexity and current work in hand may extend delivery, so you will need to keep us notified if you have any drop-dead dates. You will be notified of the anticipated delivery date, but with us, quality comes first. So when their is a delay we will always let you know. For urgency – see the Small Print. You can use our Online tracking system to see where each book is in production at any time.

The Small Print

PLEASE NOTE: Infogrid Pacific will not process any materials where the copyright is not held by the Company requesting the service.

Urgency: Everyone has a panic now and then. We maintain capacity for a certain amount of urgent work on a first comes, first served basis. Urgent means three days turn-around (conditional of course)  for an average book. Urgent pricing – just multiply everything by two (but that is still cheaper than everyone else). 

Batching: Books are different in page extent, content and complexity. We make finished work available on a book by book basis. You can retrieve them by batches if that is how you want them.

Character based costing: We never do character count based costing. please don't ask.
